Breaking Now!Nnamdi Kanu sacks lawyers for speaking against Niger Delta Avengers and misleading the public over negotiations with government [Official IPOB Press Statement]
Following the press conference earlier today by our legal team, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide has been reliably and incontrovertibly informed that some of the utterances of their defence lawyers were made without consultation. These utterances border on negotiations and some were against the Niger Delta Avengers. As a result of this unsolicited and unguarded utterances, the defence team has been sacked and will be replaced. The IPOB leader wishes to state categorically that the only thing we are open to is negotiations that will lead to modalities and processes to restore Biafra and avert further hardships on the people of Nigeria who have been under bondage since his kidnapping and illegal detention.

The Niger Delta Avengers arose because of the inherent injustice in Nigeria as manifested in the disregard to the rule of law when Buhari refused to obey court order to unconditionally release our leader, Nnamdi Kanu. We spoke the mind of our leader when we stated for record purposes that IPOB and Niger Delta Avengers share the same ideology of freedom for Biafra. Anybody publicly dissociating IPOB from Niger Delta Avengers is a mortal enemy of IPOB family worldwide under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu. Let it be known that as long as Buhari and Daura continue to tamper with Nnamdi Kanu‘s defence team through bribery, inducements and intimidation, IPOB will keep on changing the team.
For the records, the press conference by the now-sacked legal team was about bringing to public knowledge the foolishness of the Department of State Services (DSS) in bringing treasonable felony charges against our leader and the lack of evidence thereof. The press conference was NEVER about negotiations because should negotiations start, IPOB will notify the world about it. Right now, we are not negotiating and will not negotiate until existing court orders ordering the release of Nnamdi Kanu are obeyed.
In the interim, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor will continue to act as lead counsel until other counsels are appointed who will not sell their souls to the devil. Biafra or death!!!

Double standards! UN calls for probe into the killing of 90 Ethiopian protesters but ignores hundreds of Biafran protesters murdered by Buhari

Double standards! UN calls for probe into the killing of 90 Ethiopian protesters but ignores hundreds of Biafran protesters murdered by Buhari
Ninety deaths in Oromia and Amhara regions must be investigated by international observers, UN human rights chief says.
The UN human rights chief has urged Ethiopia to allow international observers to investigate the killings of 90 protests in restive regions at the weekend.

Zeid Raad Al Hussein, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said on Wednesday that allegations of excessive use of force across the Oromia and Amhara regions must be probed and that his office was in discussions with Ethiopian authorities.
“The use of live ammunition against protesters in Oromia and Amhara of course would be a very serious concern for us,” Zeid told the Reuters news agency in an interview in Geneva.
He also said that his office had “not seen any genuine attempt at investigation and accountability” since January when the killings of protesters first began.
Unrest continued in Oromia for several months until early this year over plans to allocate farmland surrounding the regional capital for development.
Authorities in the Horn of Africa state scrapped the scheme in January, but protests flared again over the continued detention of opposition demonstrators.
In the weekend, protesters chanted anti-government slogans and waved dissident flags.
Some demanded the release of jailed opposition politicians. Information on the reported killings has been difficult to obtain, Zeid said.
He added that any detainee, who had been peacefully protesting, should be released promptly.
The state-run Ethiopian News Agency said on Monday that “illegal protests” by “anti-peace forces” had been brought under control. It did not mention casualties.
Hundreds of peaceful protesting Biafrans have been killed by ‘General’ Muhammadu Buhari in the past one year. None of the killings has been investigated by the UN depise several letters that have been sent to them.
Tell me what double standard is!

"Violence pays. The only voice Nigerian government hearkens to" – New Militant Group threatens to unleash mayhem on onshore oil installations in the Niger Delta. Warri and PH Refineries top hit list

“Violence pays. The only voice Nigerian government hearkens to” – New Militant Group threatens to unleash mayhem on onshore oil installations in the Niger Delta. Warri and PH Refineries top hit list
Another militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM), has emerged with a threat to bring down the Refinery in Eleme, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Warri Refinery and the Utorogun gas plant in Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State in few days should the federal government fail to listen to them.

Issuing 48 hours to oil multinationals still in the upland of the region, especially in the Ogba/Egi axis of Rivers state, Urhobo/Isoko/Ndokwa axis of Delta state and other upland oil producing areas to evacuate their personnel, they decried that all the people of the upland Niger Delta, under whose watch the largest and most critical oil assets are located, have been ignored over the years as government and the oil companies pander to every whim and cough of those who have violently engaged the state.
The group in a statement by its Spokesman, self-styled Gen. Aldo Agbalaja said: “We have keenly watched developments in the country in recent times, developments that are most depressing, very much depicting the marginalization and subjugation of the hapless people of our region.
“We have thought very deeply about the ongoing shenanigan and play-acting going on between the federal government and some self-styled ‘Niger Delta agitators’ and thought if we fail to make our own statement now, then there will be no future for the larger Niger Delta region”.
Continuing in the statement, he said; “for the avoidance of doubts, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate is not in the mold of the various criminal gangs that have so far paraded themselves as fighting for the interest of the people of the Niger Delta, but who indeed have been engaged in fight for personal enrichment.
“We are not one of them. We are out to tell the world that there is a Niger Delta that is made up of many tribes and tongues, the people of whom have so far suffered both local and national oppression.
“We have come at this point to ensure that our oppressors, being the federal government, the state governments in the six core Niger Delta states who have received billions of dollars over the past years but have brought little or no development to the region and the so-called super-ethnic nations, who have yielded to greed and wickedness and have exposed the rest of us in the oil-rich, but deeply impoverished region, to crippling squalor”.
Explaining that the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate is a coalition of forces across the Niger Delta region, fighting for the interest of the region, Agbalaja said,
“Federal government and the oil multinational companies have been making a very grave mistake by equating the interest of the Ijaw people as that of all the tribes of the region. Indeed, this is a mistake that is about to take a more devastating toll than has ever been seen or experienced in the history of Nigeria. “Any moment from now, we shall be making a loud statement which we believe should be loud enough for all to see and take seriously and then afterwards state our demands.
“We have considered this ‘coming statement’ reluctantly inevitable because of the recalcitrance of federal authorities, as well as oil giants; they both have decided to ignore calls to reason and have made violence the only option. “Just as in the 2009 experience, the federal government and oil companies have started yet another round of negotiation with the Ijaw front, in the name of all the people of the Niger Delta. This will not work. Since they do not regard the assets in our areas important enough to be protected, we shall root them all out of the length of the Niger Delta. We don’t want to make this mistake any longer, violence pays as it has become the only voice that government gives hearkens to.
“Finally, we are asking all the oil multinationals still in the upland of our region; AGIP, TOTAL, SHELL, MOBIL, SHORELINES, NECONDE, E.D WESTERN, SEPLAT and others to commence the evacuation of their personnel from the region, especially in the Ogba/Egi axis of Rivers state, Urhobo/Isoko/Ndokwa axis of Delta state and other upland oil producing areas, within the next 48 hours.
“We also want to bring it to the attention of the federal government and the NNPC that the refineries in Warri (Urhobo land) and Port Harcourt (Eleme) and the gas plant in Otorogun will all come down in few days from now. “We just hope that the Nigerian government will continue ignoring us so that we can perfect what those in the riverine area started”.

Discriminatory appointments against non-Muslims in Nigeria – Coalition of Christian Groups exposes Buhari’s Islamisation plot

Discriminatory appointments against non-Muslims in Nigeria – Coalition of Christian Groups exposes Buhari’s Islamisation plot
Islamist Jihadists of the Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Ethnic Nationalities, who are Negroid immigrants to Nigeria, are pushing the nation to an implosion. It is therefore imperative that the remaining 386 Ethnic Nationalities of Nigeria should, as a matter of priority, convene a Conference to demonstrate to the few Islamist Jihadists of the three Ethnic Nationalities the grave danger of Islamism as a system of governance.  Nigerians are reminded that the present distress in the nation is not an act of God but man-made.

The brazen and audacious imposition of Islamist Jihadists into key positions in the country is not an expression of religious piety but a deliberate manipulation of religion for cultural and political domination by three Ethnic Groups. This Agenda commenced in 1975 after the overthrow of General Gowon. The Islamist Jihadists are a violent and domineering strain of Islam rejected by mainstream Muslims
We are reminded that after the Arab Spring, Tunisia and Egypt elected Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood into power. One year later, the two Arab Islamic Nations staged another revolution and sacked them. If Arab Nations could not tolerate Islamist Jihadists’ domination, we wonder how Nigeria, a multi-cultural, multi-religious, multi-lingual, and multi-ethnic nation would cope with the dire consequences of flooding government with Islamist Jihadists. The signs are ominous that the Islamist Jihadists, a minority in the three Ethnic Nationalities of Arab ancestry, have contrived a malevolent agenda against the other 386 Negro Ethnic Nationalities that make up Nigeria. These Negro Ethnic Nationalities and non-Islamist Jihadists must rise to contain the present challenges especially the activities of the murderous Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen that is now being strengthened with the discriminatory appointments that weighs very much against non-Muslims in Nigeria. The distinction between Negroes and Negroids is necessary to reject the assumption of superiority of the Negroid of Arab descendants in Nigeria.
It is pertinent to explain that there is a difference between Islam and Islamism. While Islam is a Religion, Islamism is but a political ideology that holds that Islam is not only a religion but a political system that must dominate wherever Islam is practiced in the world. Islamism is the ideology driving the Taliban, Al Shabab, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen and others. Islamism operates through religious terrorists and stealthily through “Civilization Jihad” (deceit) both seek to undermine democratic societies and convert them forcefully to Sharia States.
All attempts to draw the attention of the Buhari Administration through previous Press Releases and Press Conferences have, mischievously, been interpreted as politics. We are also dismayed that the Christian Coalition Group as well as other arms of Christians in Nigeria that have expressed concern about evolving issues in the Nation have been described as members of a political party (the PDP). This is a very disappointing response to very serious national issues.  As Nigerians, we have the right to comment on issues that are of great importance to the nation especially when our elected representatives chose to be silent. While we were worried about the lopsided appointments in the Security Services, we also noticed, a few days ago, that the Education Sector has been privatized in the hands of only the Fulanis and Islamist Jihadists. Virtually all strategic federal educational offices/appointments, have gone to persons with IslamistJihadists tendencies as heads in the universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, University Admissions Board (JAMB), Educational Funding and Policy Departments, etc. Our concern is not about the job and appointments but the fundamental Islamist Jihadists Agenda that is playing out in Nigeria. What the list of students’ admission will look like in the nearest future in our Nation with an Islamist Jihadist in charge of JAMB, we are constrained to ponder.
During the 2015 Election a major apprehension was the possibility of President Buhari dividing Nigeria along religious lines. This apprehension has now been justified as the President has officially completed the last phase of the Islamization exercise by instituting a strong Islamic foundation throughout the Nigerian Education Sector.  Most functional Boards in the Civil Service are headed mostly by Muslims and Fulanis which is becoming a threat and danger to the very foundation of Nigeria. We, as Christians, pray that God will save us from the hands of the Islamist Jihadists. We appeal to Mr. President not to set a record as the most insensitive President ever in the history of Nigeria. Mr. President assured the Nation during his inauguration, that he belongs to everybody: “I BELONG TO EVERYBODY, I BELONG TO NOBODY” he said. Unfortunately, since coming into office, President Buhari has consistently proved that he belongs only to Muslims and the Fulanis. Mr. President has finally confirmed what he affirmed in his BBC Hausa interview in 2003 when, according to Hope For Nigeria, he stated that he would continue in the “quest to ensure that Islamic Sharia is spread across Nigeria.”
VIOLATION OF PRINCIPLE OF FEDERAL CHARACTER IN FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS
Section 171 sub-Section 5 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) stipulates that the President in exercising his powers of appointment under this section shall have regard to the Federal Character of Nigeria and the need to promote National unity.  A critical look at the list of appointments by this administration shows utter disregard for issues that promote National unity and a gross violation of the Constitution. We wonder how Mr. President can relate the impunity of his administration to his mantra; fight against corruption. By flagrantly violating Sections 171(5) and 10 of the Constitution, the President has presented himself as corrupt.
Below are some of the very important appointments made by “Federal Islamist Jihadist’s imperial Government” to confirm our apprehension:
Chief Executives of Educational institutions:
1] Head of Universities: NUC Prof.  Abubakar Adamu Rasheed  Hausa/Fulani Muslim
2] Head of Polytechnics: Hausa/Fulani Muslim
3] Head of Colleges of Education: Prof. Bappah Aliyu Hausa/Fulani Muslim
4] Head of TETFUND: Dr. Abdulahi Baffa Hausa/Fulani Muslim

7] Head of NABTEB: Hausa/Fulani Muslim
8] Head of NTI: Prof. Garba Dahuwa Azare Hausa/Fulani Muslim.
88% of the appointments are Northern Muslim/Fulani Muslim. (Only one person is from South West, nevertheless, a Muslim.)
This is in addition of handing over the Security Units in the Nation to Muslims. President Buhari has masterfully completed the configuration of the entire National Security structure/architecture firmly in the hands of the Northern Hausa-Fulani Muslims alone to the exclusion of all other ethnic groups in Nigeria. This is definitely unfair, not just to Christians but to all non-Muslims in Nigeria.
The Security Units are configured as follows:
1. Police IG ……….. Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani
2.Chief of Army Staff ……. Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani

With the above statistics, it is fair to suggest that President Buhari is promoting division between Muslims and other Nigerians.
We wonder, whether, Islamism has something to do with the abolition, by President Buhari, of the single four-year tenure for Permanent Secretaries and two-term of four years (eight years) tenure for Directors in the Federal Civil Service in order to entrench Islamism and neo-colonialism in Nigeria.
COLLABORATION AND ACQUIESCENCE OF ELITES IN NIGERIA
There is need to define imperialism and what it stands for, especially because the Fulani Jihadists after having been conquered by the British imperialists were appointed junior partners in imperialism and colonialism by way of Indirect Rule throughout Northern Nigeria.  This form of colonial policy was adopted with some modifications to suit Southern Nigeria. Imperialism is a type of advocacy of Empire. Its name originated from the Latin word “imperium”, which means to rule over territories. Imperialism is “a policy of extending a country’s power and influence tough colonization, use of military force, or other means”.  Imperialism also includes a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through diplomacy or military force.  Imperialism is particularly focused on the control that one group, often a state power, has on another group of people. This is often through various forms of racial, religious, or cultural stereotypes. There are “formal” or “informal” imperialisms. “Formal imperialism” is defined as “physical control or full-fledged colonial rule”. “Informal imperialism” is less direct; however, it is still a powerful form of dominance. Northern and Southern Nigeria ceased to exist as political terminologies with the Creation of States in 1967 by General Gowon.  There cannot be a political North when there is no such South.  Unfortunately, the ghost of colonialism continues to haunt Nigeria with the Fulani as the “ghost” and neo-colonialists of Arewa (North) with a perceived South. The South as is employed is used merely to promote Arewa (North) as a political terminology.  After independence, the Fulani decided that they were successors to the British imperialism in Nigeria, and, thereby have become the neo-colonialists with military arsenal and man-power to continue where the British left.  This backward policy is not in accord with Democracy, the 21st Century Africa and the World.
 COLLABORATORS
In the book titled Empire – the British Imperial Experience from 1765 to the present, the author, Denis Judd wrote: “faced with the onward march of British imperialism and European civilization, local peoples had to make a choice between acceptance and defiance, collaboration and resistance. It is small wonder that for the most part, collaboration with the imperial authorities became the inevitable consequence of imperial expansion and control. Without the collaboration – the acquiescence – of local elites, tribal and religious groupings, the different castes and sub-divisions of colonial society, the British would never have been able to carry out their stupendous task of conquering, ruling, dominating and controlling so large a proportion of the planet, without also the collaboration and acquiescence of the educated elites.”
The same neo-imperialist can be said of Fulani Empire in present day Nigeria.  Nigerian Christians in 2015 substituted a substantive President with a Vice-President and with the discriminatory appointments and action listed above, the question Nigerians are asking is “where are the non-Islamists in partisan politics who, by their conduct are members of the ruling party and opposition, – when the Islamist Jihadists decided to take over the country. Have they been paid off so that Nigeria can become a true Islamist Jihadist country?” If that is the case, Christian elites in partisan politics have promoted the worst form of neo-colonialism bordering on slavery where the “Christian” South provide the funds for the Fulanis to extend the Sokoto Caliphate Empire and influence through Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram and the stealth Jihad Taqiyya to the rest of Nigeria.
History will be very harsh on non-Muslim Nigerians especially the “Christian elites” if we do not let President Buhari appreciate that Democracy not Islamism is the best form of government invented by humans. Only democracy can save Nigeria from the paths treaded by Pakistan, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Eretria, Burundi, Southern Sudan, Central African Republic, Syria, Iran and Yemen etc.  We therefore draw the attention of all non-Muslims in government (past and present) from Presidents, Heads of State, Vice-Presidents, Presidents and Deputy Presidents of the Senate, Speakers of the House of Representatives, Governors, Members of the Senate and House of Representative  and State Assemblies, Church leaders, Cardinals, Overseers, Archbishops, Bishops, Pastors and Priests to realize that Christians constitute 50% of the population  of  Nigeria and that it is only with their collaboration and acquiescence that the Islamization of Nigeria can be accomplished.  This appeal also goes to professional groups like the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers of Nigeria (NIESV), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Nigerian Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Nigeria Institute of Architects (NIA), National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), National Union of Petroleum & Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), National Union of Textile & Garment Workers of Nigeria (NUTGWN) and other professional associations trained in Western democracies. Surely they do not want to leave the country once again as some did during the 1975 purge of educated Nigerian. They must all speak out to save their country Nigeria and its young Democracy. Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen are not alternatives. We, Christians will be called to question in the world beyond if we do nothing.  We the elites will appear before God to explain why we failed to utilize God’s gift to us especially our knowledge to solve our country’s problems by working to stop the backward policies of Islamist Jihadists. Christian elites who are vocal in condemning Christians in authority cannot remain silent unless of course they have sold out to the Islamist Jihadists in Nigeria.
We must conclude by pointing out that imperialism rested on and indeed was sustained by “assumptions ofsuperiority”, where one white person or Negroid in the case of Nigeria was thought to be worth literally any member of blacks”. In Nigeria, the Arab descendants who partnered the British in Indirect Rule believe that they are superior to Negro tribes that make up over 80% of the population. Nigerian non-Muslims who acquired Western education over 70 years before the Arab Negroids are being regarded “technically” as inferior to those with Arabic education Boko Haram – Western education is “worthless”. Thus Western educated collaborators are promoting unwittingly, the superiority of the Arab descendants over the other 386 Nationalities that make up Nigeria with Islam as superior to Christianity and other Religions.  Not only are these Jihadists’ assumptions false, wicked and devious, they are also backward, retrogressive, undemocratic and against the rule of law.
Our answer is to show that while arms and Taqiyya (deceit) win Jihads, it takes ideas to win the peace.  The options open to us non-Islamist Jihadists in Nigeria today are Dialogue, Reconciliation and Restructure in that order.
 God Bless Nigeria

How Lagos State bombed Yoruba political thugs APC used to rig elections and labelled them Niger Delta Militants: The real story behind the Arepo bombing

FILE: Akinwunmi Ambode at the occasion of his declaration as All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for Lagos State on October 24, 2014 | YNaija
The real story behind the bombing of militants in Arepo in riverine community and militant hideout in Ogun State may be finally making its way into the public.
An exclusive ‘inside story’ has surfaced on an online platform, Lagos Herald, who have asserted that the militants being bombed in Arepo were a creation of the Lagos APC for the purpose of winning the 2015 Lagos general elections by all costs.

The story makes a number of weighty allegations against the Lagos APC which are shocking. We want to believe that they are not true, but from our experience in reporting news, sometimes, the truth is stranger than fiction.
“The militants bombed at Arepo and Ikorodu axis are Yoruba and not Ijaw, as gathered by Lagos herald news crew the purpose of the attack is to cover up the story behind it,” the Lagos Herald reports.
“Before 2015 general election, Lagos All Progressives Congress, APC was scared of losing the state to People’s Democratic Party, PDP, they decided to bring in Ambode kinsmen from Ese Odo Local Government Area in Ondo State and some other willing youths from the riverine area of the state.
“The youths came to Lagos with the hope and aspiration of fighting for one of theirs, not knowing he doesn’t have anything for them anyway.
“The boys were mainly stationed in Ikorodu LG which is Jimi Agbaje stronghold, some of them at Ibeju-Lekki and Eti-Osa LG.
“Due to Adewale Aeroland popularity and grassroot movement in Lagos west and large population of Igbo in the area, they moved some to Iba-Ojo axis to checkmate Aeroland for Yayi.”
The story alleged that the Lagos monarch who was recently kidnapped by the militants was a co-ordinator of the political thugs, providing logistics for them during the tension soaked 2015 elections.
“The king that was kidnapped recently was one of those in charge of accommodation and ensuring local integration, all was done with a big promise of cash and job after election”, the report says.
“The bunkering going on at Arepo was a coordinated business between the militants and some part of the law enforcement agencies. Some of those that were killed recently have nothing to do with it.
“When the election was postponed and APC Lagos chapter ran out of cash, they used some of the boys to rob a bank at Lekki on March 12 to oil the campaign machine before March 28 presidential election.
“The rest of the boys activities are story
“Almost a year after the election, most of the boys are yet to get what they were promised, most of them joined the existing bunkering operation in the area where they were stationed while some of them went back home.
“The leader of the group around Ojo keep threatening the king that was the link between him and the politicians in charge to pay up or they will unleash mayhem on the community. Since the leader didn’t get any positive result, the group went ahead to kidnapped the king.
“At the intervention of the governor, the king was released and he promised them that cash will arrive soon.
“The news of anticipated cash filter to Igbokoda, Igbobini, Gbabijo, and other Ilaje and Arogbo towns in Ondo State. The youths mobilized themselves and congregate in Lagos to get paid, not knowing it was a bait.
“Fight broke out within the group, and police sided with those existing at Arepo and other communities to kill some of the new joiners that came from Ondo State, the new joiners promised to retaliate if police refused to give them the corpse of their dead colleagues for proper burial.
“The chaos continue to spread to neighbouring camps, some of the political thugs threatening the governor that they will spill the bean and tell the world their story, that prompted the governor to quickly request for aerial bombardment through his letter to the president and military command.
“The purpose was to bomb the people and their story into oblivion. One of them who is alive shared this story,” the report concluded.

Buhari’s DSS selling promotion exams answer sheets to Northern Nigeria Civil Servants for N1million. Rakes In N2Billion

Buhari’s DSS selling promotion exams answer sheets to Northern Nigeria Civil Servants for N1million. Rakes In N2Billion
Federal Civil Service Commission, FCSC, Promotion examination questions and answers sheets domiciled with the Department of State Security, DSS, are being sold for One Million Naira each to candidates from Northern extraction, Pointblanknews.com investigations have revealed.
This is coming few weeks after reports emerged that no fewer than 70 middle cadre and junior cadre officers mainly from the South had resigned from the service, both from the state commands and the national headquarters in the last ten months because of unfavorable terms of employment they alleged had pervaded the service since the appointment of the present Director General of the agency, Mallam Lawal Musa Daura.
The scandal involves promotion examinations involving senior civil servants of the Directorate cadre notably Assistant Directors and Deputy Directors of the Northern extraction in the Federal Civil Service who are due for promotion or have repeatedly failed promotional examinations. When such examinations are conducted by the FCSC, the question papers and answer scripts are domiciled with the DSS for security reasons and safe keeping, a source familiar with the procedure told Pointblanknews.com
Sources in the DSS hinted Pointblanknews.com that a racket run by some senior officials of the Secret Police and that of the FCSC connive and single out Civil Servants from the North, sell answer scripts to candidates who have written the examinations and allow them swap with their original answer scripts. The scandal occurs once FCSC examiners proceeds to Nigerian embassies across the globe to conduct similar examinations for civil servants of directorate cadre working in such embassies after conducting the exams in Nigeria.
Pointblanknews.com learned that after the departure of the examiners abroad, DSS moves in to appropriate the questions and answers, contact selected candidates, demanding N1 million each in order to rewrite the exams with the answers to the questions to ensure that such candidates pass the examinations.
No less that N2billion is said to have been made by officials of the DSS since the fraud started. As a result, Federal Civil Service employees from the North who have failed several promotion examinations have suddenly passed and promoted, according to a DSS official who volunteered information to Pointblanknews.com.
“That is one of the reasons some officers have decided to resign from the Service because of the ongoing nepotism in the place,” the official said.
“If you pay N1million, your answer script would be swapped using the already provided answers in their custody. If you cannot provide the said amount, you will fail and remain at the same level and repeat next time,” an official of the DSS who is pissed with the scandal anonymously told Pointblanknews.com
The source added “the FCSC is also in the picture because they co-ordinate the scheme abroad but feign ignorance and benefit from the process. But it has been a process used to ensure the perpetuation of a particularly privileged people in the system. According to the source, “funny enough, there are candidates who are not even aware of the scheme, who sit the exam several times and keep failing and, are thus stagnated, eventually retiring at that level.
Only because they did not know about it so only those whose relations are in high places and are aware of the scheme pay. And this has been there for years. “That is the first menu served any new DG and Mamman Daura, the DG, is fully aware and has benefited otherwise, he would have probed it and if the anti-corruption mantra of the government is anything to go by and is not designed to benefit some people, it would have been looked into as well”, an impeccable source told Pointblanknews.com. Tony Opuiyo, Spokesperson of the DSS could not be reached for comment when Pointblanknews.com sought official response to the FCSC exam scandal.

No mercy for Abusidiqu! He rooted for APC tyranny and should face the music of misjudgement and stupidity!!

No mercy for Abusidiqu! He rooted for APC tyranny and should face the music of misjudgement and stupidity!!
There has been a din in the social media following the arrest and detention of Abubakar Sidiq Usman, publisher of Abusidiqu.com by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), following a publication on his website.

Many bloggers have aligned with him as they perceive it as the beginning of official clampdown on free speech currently being championed by bloggers.
But many seem to forget that Abusidiqu like few others rooted for ‘General’ Muhammadu Buhari and his tyrannical government. They called ex President Goodluck Jonathan all sorts of name. They used their blogs to lie and demonise him. Despite his not cracking down on them they clamoured for Buhari to bring change.
Mr designed GEJ like this,no 1 arrested him.But under Buhari, he is cooling in detention 4 cyber stalking
Now the change has manifested and the chicken has come home to roost. He should face the music.
Let’s refresh, Mr once referred Jonathan as a Tyrant, now he understands d meaning of Tyrant under PMB
The blogger was arrested Monday morning in his home in Kubwa, Abuja for exposing shady dealings involving Ibrahim Magu, EFCC chairman.
The EFCC in a statement, said, Abubakar Sidiq Usman was arrested for cyberstalking; which is the repeated use of electronic communications to harass, or frighten someone, for example by sending threatening e-mails.
Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman for EFCC on Monday said, “the suspect (Usman) has already been offered administrative bail and would be released to his elected sureties.”

The details of the administrative bail demanded that the two sureties must be Directors in the civil service.

Family sources informed the HuhuOnline that Abubakar Sidiq Usman, who owns the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC-leaning blog, has not been able to meet the bail condition.

Ibrahim Magu, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission

Online Publishers Association of Nigeria, OPAN, has condemned the arrest of Abubakar Sidiq Usman.

The body described his arrest as an attempt to stifle press freedom Nigeria and asked EFCC to release Abubakar Sidiq Usman immediately without his conditions or bring him before a competent court.

OPAN pointed out that EFCC`s action was an abuse of its powers and demanded the anticorruption agency to cease and desist from acting as judge, jury and executioner.

You’re a total failure, Kano APC Chairman tells Buhari

You’re a total failure, Kano APC Chairman tells Buhari

The chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kano State, Hussaini Mairiga, has described ‘General’ Muhammadu Buhari as a total failure. Mairiga, who yesterday came down hard on Buhari, while speaking with journalists in Kano, said “from the looks of things, President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power.”

The factional chairman said it was not an exaggeration that members of many families in the country go to bed without at least one square meal, while others had fled their homes because they could no longer provide the basic needs of life for their loved ones.
Mairiga, who is known for his bluntness, expressed worry that after one year of the Buhari administration in power, there was nothing to show while poverty in the country had reached an unprecedented level.
He lamented that while a bag of rice now sold for N16, 000, prices of other essentials commodities had tripled. Mairiga noted with dismay that prices of goods were rising at a time the ordinary man did not have money to make a living.

Another disturbing scenario, according to the factional APC chairman, was that those around the president, including his ministers, had refused to tell him the truth and advice on the reality on ground. He reminded Buhari of his campaign promises, stating that he did not like the way the masses were allowed to wallow in destitution and penury. He said Nigerians were in the worst condition that needed urgent attention.

The APC chairman advised Buhari to stop deceiving Nigerians that the nation had no money whereas on monthly basis, the federal and states governments continued to enjoy a boost in their allocations.
