Clumsy Nigeria lets out secret plan to hijack Radio Biafra broadcast

Clumsy Nigeria lets out secret plan to hijack Radio Biafra broadcast
Apparently the Nigerian government is not relenting in her desire to shut down Radio Biafra. In another obvious demonstration of clumsiness, which the Nigerian Government under Buhari is known for, the Nigerian security agencies have let out their secret plot to hijack the Radio Biafra.
The news had it that the Nigerian military had taken over the Radio Biafra after infiltrating the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The news claimed that the broadcast was being controlled by the Nigerian Military who were continuously blaring Nigeria martial songs.
This was however far from the truth as Radio Biafra monitored by our correspondent was broadcasting life and debunking the news. Despite the untruthfulness of the news, it inadvertently revealed what the Nigerian security forces are planning.
They believe that by stopping Radio Biafra the raging Biafran fire will be quenched. How wrong can they be?

The 2 -hour programme was frequently punctuated by an Igbo female announcer called Nkemdidi Chukwumeka, denouncing MASSOB and IPOB while also declaring Ndigbo support and loyalty to Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to a listener ,“The announcements are in both English and Igbo.Immediately following the announcemnts are Hausa music calling for peaceful coexistence, and saluting PMB and the armed forces. It also called for an end to Boko Haram and death of Biafra, which died 45 yrs ago.
“The female announcer continued saying this is radio Biafra closing down forever.”
Details of the shutting down of the radio were sketchy, but sources close to the military told our correspondent on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press that It was made possible by an elite team of special operations, who successfully infiltrated the Pro Biafra organisations abroad and provided the Nigerian Security with critical intelligence for the success of the operation.
“You know the NSA General BG Monguno is on top of his game” our source concluded.

At last Reuters and New York Times picks up Biafra Restoration Project news
Biafra Restoration Project (BRP) has become a global phenomenon! At last international media houses who had been mute about the BRP has finally picked up interest to write about the plight of Biafrans in Nigeria.

The arrest and illegal detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has continued to draw the attention of the world media on the plight of Biafrans and why they have continued to seek freedom and independence for their people.
The action of the Nigerian GESTAPO, the Department of State Security (DSS) and the Nigerian government is turning out as a blessing in disguise for the Biafran movement by helping to internationalize their problem.
The following report was published by the New York Times and Reuters News services. One can read a quiet and solemn account of the Biafran cause through the story presentation which seems to be narrated from a sympathetic angle to the plight of Biafran story including the fact that 1 million Biafrans died in the civil war largely due to hunger and famine, and the fact that the Biafra seekers are using peaceful means. The article also mentioned that General Buhari said his government had jammed radio Biafra which is still broadcasting today. (African Business World).

Nigerian Intelligence Arrests Biafran Separatist Leader

WARRI, Nigeria — Nigerian intelligence agents have arrested a broadcaster calling for the peaceful secession of the southeast from Nigeria, according to two Biafra separatist groups whose cause prompted a civil war in the 1960s that killed an estimated 1 million people.
Radio Biafra director Nnamdi Kanu was detained Saturday as he was about to fly to London from Lagos, Nigeria’s biggest city, said the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra.
It was not immediately possible to get comment from the Department of State Security.
In July, President Muhammadu Buhari’s government said it had jammed Radio Biafra’s signal because it is unlicensed but the station is still able to broadcast, airing grievances of the Igbo people. The Igbos fought a civil war to form an independent nation called Biafra in the late 1960s that killed about 1 million people, mostly Igbos from conflict-induced famine.
Unresolved issues from the war including appropriated property that has not been returned remain sore points. Groups including Radio Biafra continue to claim the tribe is discriminated against and they agitate for independence. Many Igbos who fled into exile have not returned home.
Eleven pro-Biafra activists have been in detention since last year on charges of alleged treason, which is a capital offense in this West African nation.
Nigeria is fighting an Islamic uprising in the northeast that has killed 20,000 people in six years, resurging militancy in the southern oil-rich Niger Delta and the central Middle Belt is plagued by violent confrontations over land and water between mainly Muslim nomadic cattle herders and sedentary farmers who are mostly Christians.

Nigeria Is Broke Says Buhari: The Justification For The Rise of Biafra!

Nigeria’s Clock Is Fast Ticking After The Expiration Of It’s 100 Years of Creation By The British
President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted that Nigeria is indeed broke. He said that the country is at the moment struggling to pay workers salaries even as he says he wants to be remembered as a Nigerian president who fought corruption to a standstill, assuring Nigerians, who are not involved in corruptly enriching themselves with public funds, not to be afraid.

President Buhari said in the coming days he would have to prune the number of ministries so as to be able to pay salaries. He’s saying this barely 24 hours after the Senate confirmed 37 ministerial nominees he sent to the upper chamber of the National Assembly for confirmation.
Speaking at a press conference after the India-Africa Summit, which took place in New Delhi, India, President Buhari said he would not lose sleep over criticism that he was being selective in the fight against corruption.
One of the main talking points at the one-day summit in New Delhi, was the provision India had made for African countries. The nation said it had set aside over $10 billion grant for African countries.
Wooing investors, President Buhari assured Indians and the international community of his administration’s commitment to sustaining efforts aimed at making Nigeria an envy of all. He urged them to avail themselves of the conducive environment that would be created for investments to thrive.
Responding to critics of his administration who claim he was too slow in addressing economic and infrastructural challenges facing the country that’s yearning for urgent development, Buhari said “they call me baba go slow, but I will go slow and steady”.
He called on the elite to encourage him to get whoever had compromised his position and the trust given to him. President Buhari told the gathering that he remained resolute in the fight against corruption and would want to be remembered for that when it is all said and done.
His administration has three main focus – security, economy and the fight against corruption. But he has roundly been criticised by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as being selective in the fight.
On whether there will be an extension of a three-month deadline given by his administration to flush out Boko Haram from Nigeria’s north-east, the President said that the target was to get rid of terrorism and not about meeting deadline.
